Cover Reveal!

I always love sharing the covers of my books for the first time, but this one is extra special as it comes via People Magazine, alongside an article that shares some of the juicy details about the book.

Maybe it's a sign of these messy times that this is giving me so much hope right now - hope that this timely short novel will connect with readers. And if any of you follow me on social media, you've probably seen me post pictures of the deer behind my house. All of my books feel personal to me, but this one hits close to home as I love my animal neighbors so much and they inspired me to write this.

New Publisher, New Writing Phase

It's been a minute since I posted anything here. In general, I haven't been using social media as much this year...possibly because it often feels like the world is ending. But I have an exciting new project on the horizon, and it was just announced officially (there's always stuff going on behind the scenes). SOMETHING OF A CALLING seems to mark the beginning of my "detective phase," after several years of a "mother/daughter phase." And it also marks my first time with Blackstone Publishing!
